Church Partnership Open Arms has functioned as a faith based charitable organization since 1996, sheltering homeless families and providing supportive services. We apply the old adage, "Feed a man a fish, you've given him a meal, teach him how to fish, you've fed him for a lifetime." Have you ever considered becoming a missional church? It is our desire to help local churches with their ability to reach out to marginalized and hurting people. Ministry to the poor should be something we are all doing with our available resources. The focus of the training we offer will be to help strategize with you on how you can be effective in ministry and good stewards of your resources. Once you’ve set your goals we can assist with training to bring you to the front lines of effective service, here locally or abroad. Contact us to set up an appointment so we can help you PLAN (Prioritize, Learn, Act, Navigate). Our partner churches will get this service from us for the cost of materials. We have been serving homeless families and individuals in Belknap County for 12 years and minister cross culturally to many refugee families in the region. We get calls from churches and referrals quite often who feel relieved there is at least a place to call when folks are in trouble. But we do not exist apart from the church or the body of Christ. We are “mercy specialists” and can help you, help others. How can we work together?Basically there are three levels of interaction. These are intuitive and develop organically, if you will: Cooperate- When you call us we problem solve together and work briefly on a particular issue. We enjoy this level of cooperation with many churches that are in touch with us year round. We always welcome your calls anytime as the need arises. Coordinate- This is a more extended time of service that requires us walking together on a particular issue or strategy. We develop plans and labor together in a way that is more in depth than the above. We would consider this the beginning of a co-laboring relationship with a church. Sometimes this will advance to the final stage. Co-Laboring- This is a true partnership where we develop long term projects and walk together, sharing resources and education to provide excellence of outreach in the name of Jesus Christ , Our Lord and Savior. If you are interested in learning more about these possibilities, please contact our office at your earliest convenience. We would love to hear from you! In Christ,
